Suntikoppa: A man and his spouse will contest the gram panchayats elections against each other in the second ward of 7th Hosakote.

The State Election Commission announced elections to 5,762 of Karnataka’s 6,004 gram panchayats. Polling will be held on December 22 and 27, and results will be declared on Dec 30.

Surprisingly, this time Kishore and his spouse Shrija would give a tough fight to each other as they have filed nominations in the second ward of 7th Hosakote. The nominations have been filed in the ward reserved for general category.

The voters were baffled to see the husband and wife campaigning together. Reports say that Kishore’s friends had asked him to withdraw from the elections. Nevertheless, Kishore is still contesting elections.
