Hussainabba died of head injuries; report

Udupi: The post-morterm report of Cattle trader, Hussainabba reported that he died of head injuries.
The post-mortem report was submitted by the investigating offices in the court on Thursday.
The post-mortem was conducted at Manipal hospital. The report states that head injury was the cause of Hussainabba’s death. Blood clots were found on Hussainabba’s head, and the FSL report on them is awaited from a Bengaluru lab. It may take up to three days, sources said.
The report thus confirms that Hussainabba was murdered. The police have already registered a murder case against arrested VHP and Bajrang Dal activists.
Magistrate Venkatesh Naik who heard the arguments on the bail plea of the 10 accused – three cops and seven Bajrang Dal activists – said that the order on the bail application would be issued on June 18. On Friday June 15, all the accused will be produced in the court as their judicial custody would end.
Hiriadka SI D N Kumar, head constable Mohan Kotwal, police jeep driver Gopal are being represented in the court. Lawyer Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, who is the also the district BJP president, is the counsel for main accused VHP leader Suresh Mendon alias Suri and the other Bajrang Dal activists.
