Bengaluru: MP Tejasvi Surya on Thursday lashed out at Congress leaders for creating false propaganda against vaccines and pointing fingers at BJP leaders.
BJP people representatives of the city South Lok Sabha constituency held a press conference on Thursday at Bengaluru.
Speaking at the Press conference, Surya said, ” Congress leaders are making irresponsible statements against BJP leaders. They say that we have not done anything to tackle the pandemic. We will tell them what 25 BJP MPs of the state have done. Union government was not sleeping. Before the second wave of coronavirus, PM Modi had instructed all on March 17 to make necessary preparations required”
He further said, “Except for India, no other nation had the capacity of starting and executing vaccination. Also, most of the doctors and nurses of the country were vaccinated in the first wave. By September, 10 crore people will be vaccinated”
“When the government was holding Covid-19 vaccine awareness programmes, Congress was busy creating false propaganda against vaccines. They said it was the BJP vaccine. At first, MLA UT Khader opposed the vaccine but later took the vaccine and spoke about it on social media. These are hypocritical politicians who do not have moral,” he added
Surya said, ” We are working hard to procure oxygen and other medical equipments from the Union government. Let them question me about what the BJP MLAs are doing, I will answer them”
Revenue minister, R Ashok, MLAs Ravi Subramanya and Garudachar and BJP south district president, N R Ramesh were present in the press conference.
