I am aspiring for ministerial berth: Pratap Gowda Patil

Bengaluru: BJP’s Pratap Gowda Patil has said that he vying for a cabinet position.

Patil is the prospective candidate from the BJP for the Maski by-polls, the election date for which have not been announced yet.

Speaking at the Vidhan Sabha, Patil said that all the 17 MLAs who resigned were promised ministerial positions when the new government was formed. Adding that he is sure the promise will be fulfilled.

“I joined the BJP due to the appreciative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar are making false accusation against me,” he added.

“I am sure the people of the constituency will vote for me. There is no discontent amongst us. We are all together and will campaign together for the by-polls,” he said.
