I am no more interested to be a part of State politics: Ramya

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress and former MP Ramya said that she is no more interested to be a part of State politics and has no intention of contesting in the upcoming assembly election.

Ramya celebrating her birthday on Wednesday clarified the rumors doing rounds of her contesting in the 2018 Assembly either from Mandya or Basavanagudi constituency and said “I will obey the top leadership of the party.” 

However, when Actor Ambareesh was questioned on the same, he said “I will contest only if the high command asks me to. But I welcome Ramya’s candidature in Mandya.”
