The much-anticipated pre-release event for Jr NTR’s upcoming movie Devara: Part 1 took an unexpected turn on Sunday, September 22, when an overwhelming crowd of fans forced organizers to cancel the event. The event, which was supposed to be a grand celebration ahead of the film’s release on September 27, couldn’t proceed due to the venue exceeding its capacity.

Fans flooded the auditorium from all directions, causing chaos, and making it unsafe for both attendees and stars. With the venue packed beyond its 5,000-person limit, hosting nearly 15,000 enthusiastic fans, Jr NTR and filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas were advised to skip the event for security reasons.

Taking to social media, Jr NTR expressed his disappointment. In a heartfelt message, he said, “I am deeply saddened that the event had to be cancelled. I was looking forward to sharing exciting details about Devara and interacting with my fans. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, it was impossible to continue. I share your disappointment.”

Social media quickly exploded with reactions from fans, many of whom vented their frustration over the last-minute cancellation. Videos of the overcrowded venue went viral, with fans pointing out the mismanagement by the event organizers and producers. Some posts highlighted the delay and confusion, while others showed that many fans refused to leave even an hour after the event was called off.

Despite the chaos, fans remain excited for the film’s release on September 27, and Jr NTR’s message reassured them that the biggest celebration is yet to come – on the big screen.

Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The film promises to be an epic, featuring intense underwater action sequences that took nearly 35 days to shoot. Fans are eagerly awaiting what’s expected to be one of Jr NTR’s most ambitious projects to date!
