Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah alleged that the public was in favour of Congress and he said that he informed the same to Prime Minster Narendra Modi when he was in Mysuru recently.
During the Assembly meeting when BJP members took protest to the chief minister for mentioning Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s name, Siddaramaiah said, “Just because I took his name, it doesn’t mean that I am disrespecting him. When I told Narendra Modi that the Congress would come back to power in Karnataka, he was simply smiling,” he added.
In the Council, Siddaramaiah alleged that his party (Congress) will come back power and he will continue as the chief minister.
