IAS Officer in Karnataka Files Complaint Against Congress MLA after Alleged Harassment

Bengaluru: Congress MLA, Shivamurthy Naik who represents Mayakonda constituency has allegedly harassed Rajender Kataria, IAS officer, Secretary to Karnataka Government, Commerce and Industries Department. IAS officer has registered a complaint before chief minister Siddaramaiah and chief secretary to the state government, Subhash Chandra Khuntia on the incident on Wednesday.
Speaking on the verbal harassment, Rajender Kataria said he hasn’t experienced such an incident in his career during the past 21 years. The officer expressed his confidence that the concerned authorities would take necessary action based on his complaint.
Meanwhile speaking on the alleged harassment, Shivamurthy Naik rejected the allegations and said he hasn’t harassed anyone instead he asked the officer to handover some information. Earlier, a complaint was filed against Shivamurthy before Karnataka chief minister after he tried to assault Chief Secretary of Primary and Secondary Education Department.
