Madikeri: Local MLA MP Appachu Ranjan has stated that if the chief minister is changed then he would like to get a ministerial berth in the Cabinet of the new chief minister.

“I have won the elections 5 times and if the chief minister is changed then the Cabinet too will be changed. However, all depends on the decision of the high command and I will abide by it,” he said.

He added that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who is still their leader, has been hurt by the discussions on the change of leadership.

“We do not know when and what will be the decision of the high command,” Ranjan said.
