Udupi: The rainy season has arrived and we are already dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The season brings with it its own diseases. In case if you suffer from fever, chills, shortness of breath do not depend completely on home-made medicines. Visit our Fever Clinics we will provide you with treatment, Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha has appealed to the residents of the district.
Do not neglect if symptoms show. Inform the authorities immediately. Visit the hospital and get tested. Otherwise, we will visit you and do a swab test, he said.
Citizens need not worry about anything. Throat fluid testing is done for free. If anybody tests positive for COVID-19, their treatment will be done for free. If there is a symptom, get tested without any hesitation. Protecting the life of the district’s citizens is our priority, Jagadeesh added.
When ASHA activists visit you, please provide them with correct information. Some organisations had decided to pay homage to COVID Warriors. But the time is not right. Once the infection is under control, it can be done, he said.
