Byndoor: Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty on April 21 sarcastically reacted to Zameer Ahmad’s statement, stating that had the residents of Padarayanapura and the constituency been literate, Zameer Ahmad would have never won the seat.
Zameer had earlier stated that the Padarayanapura incident occurred because the people there are illiterate and did not have any information about the visits being conducted.
Shetty further added that illiteracy in the area is, in a way, Zameer’s doing as such people can be fooled into voting him.
