Bengaluru: MLA Mahesh Kumathalli on Saturday said that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa would be betraying me if he does not give me a ministerial position in his cabinet.

Yediyurappa was in Delhi with a list of probable ministers. However, a final date for the expansion has not yet been declared.

In Delhi, the Chief Minister held discussions with Amit Shah and J P Nadda on the cabinet expansion. According to sources, Shah accepted the names of 10 out of 11 MLAs for ministerial posts as a result of this either Mahesh Kumatalli or Shrimant Patil may stay out of the cabinet.

Kumathalli also said that he doesn’t know if he will be appointed as a minister or a chairman of the board of a state-owned company but in any case, the Chief Minister will not break his promise to me.
