“When you were in Power and MLAs brought letter of developmental works to you, how much did you acknowledge it? How much have you respected us?” BJP candidate from, Rajarajeshwari Nagar Munirathna questioned the Congress leaders

Speaking at the BJP office, Munirathna said, “You people who are not capable of handling 80 MLAs are now talking rubbish during the by elections. You are trying to hide your mistakes”

“If you had been right this situation wouldn’t have come. It’s not just one person 15-16 of us have quit the party. We have not come out because we are selfish. We have to payback our voters if we can’t do that then we shouldn’t be in that place. That’s why we came to BJP,” he added

Speaking about the bypolls, CM BS Yediyurappa said, “ As soon as Munirathna wins in the by election, I will give him ministerial position. Soon after the bypolls, I will go to Delhi”
