Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has for the first time reacted to the leadership change rumours circulating in the State’s political circles.

Speaking to reporters after garlanding a statue of late chief minister D Devaraj Urs on his death anniversary, Yediyurappa said, “The High Command trusts me. I will remain till the time they ask me to resign and leave.”

Responding to the query that there is no alternative leader to him, the chief minister said, “I do not agree with it. With time, leaders will emerge in the State as well as in the country.”
