Mangaluru: In a joint operation the CCB police, Pandeshwar police and authorities of Food and Civil Supply department raided premises from where refilling of gas was being done illegally.
Two persons identified as Prashant (42) of Bolar, and Sadashiv Rai (47) of Kaikamba near BC Road were arrested and 93 cylinders were seized in the raids, conducted on the basis of a tip-off, at Bolar and Jeppu Market area in the limits of South Police Station. Two others – Harish and Kusappa – are absconding and a search is on for them.
