Koppal: BJP State president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that illegal mining and sand mafia started in the State during the chief ministership of Siddaramaiah and since the BJP came to power in the State legal action has been initiated against such illegal activities.
Speaking to reporters here, he said those illegal mines or quarries with a license can be legalised and not all of them. Permission may be granted as per Supreme Court order, however, it would be problematic for those cases which are already in court.
Responding to a query about DK Shivakumar’s statement on unemployment, Kateel said that after the BJP government came to power, thief-fraudsters works have stopped and they have become unemployed.
“There is no opportunity today to make money through politics. They are all failing to make money. During demonetization, they suffered a lot. So they all have become unemployed,” Kateel added.
“The world today appreciates Prime Minister Modi’s action. Earlier, India used to beg from other countries now it is gifting COVID-19 vaccines to other countries. Brazil’ president tweeted a photo of Hanuman carrying the Sanjivani hill to thank us. This shows the achievement of Prime Minister Modi. He has brought honour to India,” Kateel said.
