Illegal slaughterhouse raided at Magadi

Magadi: Police raided illegal slaughterhouse at Tavarekere of Tumkur district here on Friday.
Police rescued 65 cattle from the slaughterhouse.
It has been reported that, the slaughter house was operational at the Shaukat Ali Stables.
Based on a tip-off police conducted the raid. Police said that the animals were bought from farmers at cheap prices and slaughtered.
The animals have been handed over to a Gaushala at Gubbi in Tumkur district.
