IMA jewels fraud: Interpol issues blue corner notice against Mansoor Khan

Bengaluru: The the international police (Interpol) has issued a blue corner notice against I Monetary Advisory (IMA) Jewels founder Mansoor Khan, who is accused of perpetrating financial fraud running into several crores of rupees.
A blue corner notice is an inquiry notice issued to locate, identify or obtain information on a person of interest in a criminal investigation.
Mansoor Khan, managing director of IMA Jewels went missing and an audio clip of him stating that he was committing suicide, accusing MLA Roshan Baig of cheating him of Rs 400 crore went viral on Whatsapp.
The SIT has already arrested a total of 13 people in the case so far as its efforts to trace the owner of the company Mansoor Khan continues.
Investigations into his whereabouts have further revealed that an amount of 19 crore rupees was transferred from the IMA account to his personal account before he fled the country. As per sources, the money was obtained by liquidating most of the gold and diamonds in his shops into cash.
A notice has been issued to Mansoor Khan asking himself to be present on June 24 before SIT, while ED Summons have also been posted at IMA Offices’ doors.
