IMD issues yellow alert for Dakshina Kannada; Rain expected from June 5

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a rainfall alert for the coastal areas. Starting from June 5, we can expect good rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated on weather conditions.
On June 3, sunny and cloudy conditions were observed throughout the coastal district. The temperature was notably high, with a maximum of 35.4 degrees Celsius recorded in Mangalore.
The minimum temperature was 27.2 degrees Celsius. Both figures were three degrees above the average temperature for this time of year.
