IMD’s Red Alert: Mangalore University postpones exams scheduled for July 25

Mangaluru: Mangalore University has postponed the examinations scheduled for July 25 as the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kodagu districts for Tuesday.

All undergraduate semester examinations scheduled to be held on July 25 have been postponed. The revised date of the exams will be communicated to all affiliated colleges soon, the varsity said.

There will be no changes to the schedule of other exams announced earlier, the university added in a statement on Monday.

As a precautionary measure, DK district administration has declared a holiday on July 25 for educational institutions from Anganwadis to degree colleges across the district.
