In matrimonial advertising, people provide an unending list of conditions. While some ads are so unusual that they become social media memes, others are so outlandish that they end up on the internet. The most recent matrimonial ad to catch the attention of netizens was posted on Reddit.
The ad specifies a man’s requirements for a bride. The man stated the bra size, waist size, and even the foot size of his possible spouse, in addition to the age category in which she should be.
He wrote, “Be fun but down to earth. Be manicured/pedicured and yourself fairly clean.”
Further adding, “Be trustworthy, honest, and into movies, road trips, and family stuff… You must also have or love dogs and no kids. 18-26 year olds.”
The ad, which was placed on the Betterhalf matrimony app, has gone viral on social media. Netizens who were outraged flocked to the comments section to express their feelings.’
Following its appearance on Twitter, the ad drew the attention of the matrimonial app.
“Necessary action has been taken against the user for violating our User Terms and Conditions,” the company said.
