Udupi: T Satish U Pai, President of MGM College Trust on Friday said that life skills are essential for thriving in a world that is constantly changing.
He was speaking at the inauguration of “T. Mohandas Pai Skill Development Institute” at MGM College on Friday, January 13.
Pai said, “Information is now easily accessible because of modern technology like mobile phones and the internet. However, everyone needs to have life skills as it will lead to personal and organizational growth.”
“On this occasion, we must remember T. Mohandas Pai as he has made an enormous contribution to the economic and educational growth of this region. Also, I attribute my success to my wife Sandhya S. Pai, son Gautam Pai and daughter Nandana,” he added.
Dr Mohan Alva, president of Alva’s group of educational institutions, said, “We must congratulate the Pai family of Manipal for making a significant contribution to the banking, health, education, and medical sectors of the districts.
“The Pai family has inspired many individuals in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi district, including me. You not only created a Pai empire but also built lives. Satish U Pai is highly respected by everyone as he is a kind and compassionate human being,” he added
MGM College Trust President T Satish U. Pai and his wife Dr. Sandhya S. Pai were also felicitated.
Chairman of the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) Dr. Ranjan Pai, pro-Chancellor of MAHE Dr. H. S. Ballal, founder of Alva’s Education Foundation Dr. M Mohan Alva, members of the board of trustees Vasanthi R Pai, and T Ashok Pai and others were present.
