In-laws, husband allegedly push woman from moving car

Coimbatore: A video of a woman thrown out of a moving car was captured by CCTV cameras in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore. The victim alleged that she was thrown out of the moving car by her husband and her in-laws who allegedly harassed her and wanted to murder her.

The incident took place in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore last month.

In the CCTV footage, the complainant could be seen falling out of the moving vehicle.

The victim has lodged a complaint against her husband Arun Joe Amalraj and his parents.

On receipt of her complaint, the police have registered a case in Thudiyalur Police Station under sections 294(b), 323, 506(ii), 498 (A), 307 of the IPC and also Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998.

On further investigation, the police found witnesses and evidence that proved that Arun Joe and his parents harassed her and attempted to murder her by pushing her out of a moving vehicle.

The accused in the case are absconding, and the police are taking all measures to nab them.
