Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Railway Division of the Government Railway Police has started a novel program of making personalised cards with contact info of its constables to be given to passengers.

The cards contain the details of the constable along with their contact numbers for use by passengers during any emergency.

GRP constables have been issued 100 of these each which they can give to any passenger they like.

GRP officials stated that this is a pilot project which will be emulated in other railway stations in the State.

Presently, constables in Bengaluru City, Yesvantpur, Bangarpet and Cantonment railway stations have started to give out these cards to passengers.
