In Pics: CM Bommai participates in midnight flag hoisting ceremony in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai participated in the midnight flag hoisting ceremony at Malleswaram Barangay in Bengaluru.

Speaking at the event, Bommai said, ” Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign received an amazing response. We saw record participation from people across different walks of life. This is a great way to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.”

“Lokmanya Tilak, Lala Lajpat Roy, Subhas Chandra Bose, Chandrasekhara Azad, and Bhagat Singh have dedicated their lives and resources to the altar of the country’s freedom struggle. It is our duty to pay tributes and remember our freedom fighters who fought for our independence,” he added

 

Higher education Minister Ashwath Narayan was also present at the event.
