Mandya: Incessant rainfall hit normal life in the Mandya district on Monday.
The district administration has declared a holiday for all Anganwadis, primary and high schools (classes 1 to 10) in the district on Monday, August 29 as a precautionary measure.
The Bengaluru-Mysuru highway has been closed due to waterlogging at Ramanagara. Vehicles moving between the two cities have to move via Huliyurdurga on the Magadi route. The traffic police installed barricades near Adigas Hotel in Maddur for diverting the traffic to Bengaluru.
