Increased Demand for Workspaces by IT Companies in the City: Two New Business Centers by Mukund MGM Realty to Open Soon

Press Release, Jan 12, 2025, 4:30 PM IST

In recent years, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic, circumstances have changed significantly. Thousands of IT professionals who had been working abroad have now returned to their hometowns and continue to work for the same companies from Mangaluru. However, these professionals faced challenges such as the need for high-speed internet and uninterrupted power supply while working from home. Addressing this issue, ‘Vertex Workspaces’ not only provided a solution but also equipped these professionals with all necessary utilities and facilities.

Invest Smart – Invest in Mangaluru

The state government extended the ‘Karnataka Digital Economy Mission’ initiative to Smart City Mangaluru. Over the past three years, the city has witnessed the establishment of over 150 new IT and corporate firms, creating over 6,000 additional job opportunities. With more IT companies now eager to set up operations in Mangaluru, the demand for workspaces has significantly increased.

In response, the Ashoka Business Center project is rapidly progressing in the city’s Bejai-Kapikad area. About 50% of the construction work has already been completed, and the project is expected to be handed over by mid-2025. Many IT companies have already expressed interest in acquiring space in the project.

Spanning 1.2 lakh sq. ft., this workspace is set to accommodate over 2,500 professionals. Designed with a focus on traffic-free zones, eco-friendly green buildings, uninterrupted internet and power supply, and a serene, green environment, the construction emphasizes modernity and sustainability.

Additionally, Mukund MGM Realty is preparing to launch two more business centers soon under their ‘Invest Smart – Invest in Mangaluru’ initiative. Investors can collaborate with the company to contribute to these workspace projects, with foreign companies having the opportunity to earn up to 8% rental income. With current workspace rates expected to rise by 20%, the existing rates are valid only until January 26, 2025.

Customer Satisfaction is Key to Success

“Our customers’ satisfaction is our greatest achievement. Helping professionals work comfortably in their hometowns brings us immense pride. We are committed to meeting their requirements and envisioning long-term workplace solutions. Through innovative projects, we aim to contribute to the growth of IT companies,” said Mahesh Shetty, a partner at the firm.

He added, “Our upcoming workspace projects prioritize innovation, offering 24/7 electricity and internet connectivity to support employees.”
