Independence Day: PM Modi unfurls National Flag at Red Fort

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, August 15 unfurled the Indian National Flag at the Red Fort on the occasion Independence Day.
Speaking at the Red Fort, after paying tributes to freedom fighters and security forces Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “We will achieve victory over coronavirus with resolve of people of the country. We are going through a unique situation because of coronavirus pandemic and hail corona warriors”
“While we focus on economic growth and development, humanity must retain a central role in this process. For how long India will export raw materials and import finished products; country has to become self-reliant,” he added.
Earlier, the Prime Minister paid tributes at Raj Ghat.
