Independent candidate Arun Kumar Puthila attracts attention with lead in Puttur Assembly Constituency

The counting of votes for the Karnataka assembly elections is currently underway in the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. The Congress party has taken an early lead in the polls.

The votes for eight constituencies in Dakshina Kannada are being counted at NITK, Suratkal, while the votes for five constituencies in Udupi are being counted at St. Sicily, Udupi.

Dakshina Kannada:

In Bantwal, after the fifth round of vote counting, BJP’s Rajesh Naik is leading, while Congress’s Ramanath Rai has been trailing behind.

In Mangalore South, after the ninth round of counting, BJP’s Vedavyasa Kamath has taken a significant lead.

In Puttur, tyhe non-party candidate Arun Kumar Puthila, who has gained a lot of attention in the state, has taken the lead, while Ashok Kumar Rai is in the second position.

In Mangalore constituency, after the fifth round of counting, Congress candidate UT Khader has taken the lead , while Satish Kumpala of BJP is trailing.

In Mangalore North, after the fourth round of counting, BJP candidate Bharat Shetty is leading.

In Moodbidri, after the fourth round of counting, BJP candidate Umanath Kotyan is leading, while Mithun Rai of Congress is lagging behind.

BJP’s Bhagirathi Murulya is leading in Sulya Assembly Constituency, after the fifth round of counting.

Udupi:

In Karkala constituency, BJP’s Sunil Kumar is leading, while Congress’s Uday Shettyis trailing behind after eight rounds of counting.

In Kundapura constituency, after six rounds of counting, BJP’s Kiran Kodgi is leading

In Udupi constituency, BJP’s Yashpal Suvarna is leading, while Prasad Raj Kanchan is lagging behind.

In Kaup constituency, BJP’s Suresh Gurme is leading.
