India Pakistan Bangladesh Blind Cricket Team to play Tri Series

New Delhi: The Triangular T20 Cricket Series for the Blind 2022, powered by Cricket Association for the Blind in India(CABI) which presents a major opportunity for blind cricketers to showcase their talent is all set to occur in full swing from March 13.
The triangular matches among India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh will be held in the Skyline University College campus in Sharjah from March 13 to March 19, where players’ performance will be closely monitored and assessed. A total of 7 matches including the Finals will be played.
As many as 17 Blind cricketers from CABI, will be traveling to Dubai on March 12. The inaugural ceremony will be held on March 13 and the finals will happen on March 19.
The Cricket Association for the Blind in India, a sports initiative of Samarthanam, envisions establishing a strong cricketing ecosystem exclusively for the visually impaired in the country.
President of CABI, Dr. Mahantesh G K said, the organization is working proactively to nurture and fortify the talented blind cricketers who can healthily challenge themselves, to reach their fullest potential, in an extensive platform.”
Cricket for the blind is a magnificent display of how the visually impaired can triumph over challenges in life and overcome them through cricket. By promoting the game, CABI believes that the visually challenged have the right to be a part of the sport and look at life positively, gain confidence and strive to be winners in every sphere of life.
