Indian army’s ‘Tornadoes’ creates Guinness record

Bengaluru: Indian army’s ‘Tornadoes’ team comprising of Army Service Corps (ASC) here led by Subedar Rampal Yadav broke its 19 earlier records and set a new world record on Sunday.

Major Bansi Sharma, mentor of the team, was present at the air force station, Yelahanka, when 58 persons travelled for a distance of 1,200 metres on a single motor bike on Sunday.

The participants were dressed in three different colors of the Indian flag, and an old 500 cc Royal Enfield bike was used.

The target was to break its own record of 54 persons riding on a single motor bike, which was created by the team in the year 2010.

The team experimented with 60 persons on a bike, which dint succeed after which the team went on with 58 men on a single bike and succeeded the task to break a new World record.
