Indian Railways Cancels Train Service from Karnataka to Violence Hit States

Bengaluru: Indian Railways has cancelled three train services which connect Bengaluru with the regions of Haryana, Jammu, and Punjab following deteriorating law and order situation in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi and others.

Accordingly, train number 22685, Yesvantpur-Chandigarh Superfast Karnataka Sampark Kranthi Express has been cancelled as per the orders on August 26, 2017.

Meanwhile, train number 82651, Yesvantpur-Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra Suvidha Express has been cancelled whereas train number 22686, Chandigarh-Yesvantpur Superfast Karnataka Sampark Kranthi Express cancelled its service from Punjab on Saturday.
