Bengaluru: If certain sources are to be believed, H D Kumaraswamy, chief minister of Karnataka and H D Revanna, PWD minister are having some differences over the starting date of the Belagavi winter session.

CM Kumaraswamy had decided to hold the winter session from December 3 to 15 but his brother H D Revanna has advised Kumaraswamy to start the winter session on December 5 as auspicious December 5 is more auspicious than December 3.

However, Kumaraswamy has sent a temporary timetable to the speaker of the legislative assembly Ramesh Kumar and Basavaraj Horatti chairman of the legislative council respectively. Following it, Ramesh Kumar and Basavaraj Horatti have decided to hold a preparatory meeting on November 19.
