A seemingly trivial dispute over control of the TV remote during an India-Pakistan cricket match ended in the tragic death of a 16-year-old boy in NMS Layout.

The deceased has been identified as Chandrasekhara, the son of Lakshmana Babu.

Case details:

The incident unfolded as a heated argument erupted between Chandrasekhara and his younger sibling regarding the possession of the TV remote. The dispute, seemingly insignificant at first, escalated when their father, Lakshmana Babu, who was unwell at the time, became infuriated by the commotion.

In a fit of anger, Lakshmana Babu, unable to physically intervene, impulsively grabbed a pair of scissors and hurled it toward the quarreling siblings. Tragically, the scissors inflicted grievous injuries upon Chandrasekhara. Although he was rushed to the hospital, his condition deteriorated rapidly, ultimately resulting in his untimely demise.
