Indonesia: Teachers burn phones after confiscating them from students, video goes viral

Teachers usually reprimand pupils who disobey rules or behave badly in school and college with modest sanctions. The goal is to keep them from making the same mistakes in the future.
Even when things get out of hand, teachers are required to take steps to educate rather than aggravate disruptive students.
The most popular form of punishment these days is the confiscation of smartphones by teachers for a few hours or days. They are not to be destroyed or tampered with in any way.
However, some teachers have now been seen on camera taking discipline to new heights.
In Indonesia, a group of teachers were seen on camera throwing confiscated iPhones into a fire pit.
Students’ electronics were seized and thrown into the flames. Despite the pupils’ pleas and cries, the teachers continued with the harsh punishment.

Students may be seen appealing to the teachers to stop, but they are unsuccessful. There is no mention of the incident’s location in Indonesia. According to certain social media accounts, the incident occurred at an Indonesian boarding school.
The video enraged a lot of people on the internet. Some others believe the teachers should be reprimanded and sued for causing property damage.
