Infosys Foundation to help build 300-bed hospital complex

Bengaluru: Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and corporate social responsibility arm of Infosys, will help build a 300-bed hospital complex in the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Research here.
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy laid the foundation stone in the presence of Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy, tourism minister S R Mahesh and the director of Jayadeva Hospital, Dr C N Manjunath.
The project aims to help reduce the congestion faced by the hospital and also treat poor patients from various parts of the country, a Foundation release said.
Infosys Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Jayadeva Hospital, it said.
