Inmate commits suicide in Bengaluru prison

Bengaluru: A prisoner, who has been convicted in a murder case, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in the Parappana Agrahara Jail here, prison officials said.
Thirty-one-year old Masthi Kumar from Shivamogga was found hanging using his clothes in the cell, officials said, adding he was lodged in the jail 10 months ago.
A probe has been initiated, the officials added.
