Innovative idea: Ashwin-Buttler incident used by DK police to warn traffic violators

Mangaluru: The official twitter handle of Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police came up with a innovative idea for warning the traffic signals violators recently.

The SP’s tweet on Thursday shared a picture from a recent IPL controversy where Indian ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin captaining KXIP, run out Rajasthan Royals’ batsman at the non-striker end for leaving the crease before Ashwin delivered the ball. Although Buttler was all set on the pitch he had to leave the field since he was given out on the occasion.

Making a smart use of the situation, The SP shared a 2 photo collage depicting the IPL run out on one side and a black color car crossing over the stop line near the signal lights on the other side. The image was captioned, “Don’t cross the line before your time. You know it can be costly”.
