Inquiry ordered after Mysuru DC builds swimming pool, gym in official residence

Mysuru: An inquiry has been ordered against Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri after reports that she built a swimming pool and a gym in her official residence at a cost of Rs 50 lakhs.
The Regional Commissioner has been instructed to investigate as the Deputy Commissioner’s residence is a heritage building and new construction works are not allowed.
The instruction for the inquiry was passed by the Revenue Department after a complaint by MLA SR Mahesh to the chief minister.
