There have been various instances of monoliths appearing and disappearing in different parts of the globe. If you are an ardent social media user you might have come across plenty of memes regarding the same. So what is this shazam about?
The infamous Marriam Webster dictionary defines monolith as “a single great stone often in the form of an obelisk or column” It is also said that the monoliths were placed by people in the ancient times. What grabbed the world’s attention is the disappearance of Monoliths which appeared out of nowhere.
The first monolith was discovered in the remote part of Utah, USA on November 18 which disappeared on November 27. Initially the location of the structure wasn’t revealed according to the social media.
Around the time the Utah monolith disappeared another monolith was discovered in Romania. Few days later the structure disappeared mysteriously. Soon after this a monolith was discovered in California. As usual the appearance is still unclear but now it has been replaced by a wooden cross.
Similarly monoliths have been discovered at Pennsylvania, Las Vegas, Columbia, Netherlands and recently in Poland.
While the netizens are the ones to be intrigued by the disappearance of monoliths, there has been a part of the internet that pondered on the possibility of monoliths popping in India.
As we all know that netizens are known for their notorious memes , this time even government agencies and police forces took to twitter to express their take.
