Int’l Award for MAHE Assistant Professor

Manipal: Usha Rani, Assistant Professor, MHA Programme, Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE, Manipal has received the prestigious “The 2018 Yufong International Health Literacy Award” for her contribution towards Health Literacy.
The award, consisting of $500 and a certificate was presented to her by Professor Dr. Peter WS CHANG, Secretary-General, AHLA, Geneva, Switzerland during the sixth annual conference of Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) International Health Literacy Conference held from October 25 to 27 at Taichung, Taiwan.
The award is given to researchers with the best researches and practices outcome in the area of health literacy. The purpose of the award is to promote health literacy researches and practices globally and encourages health literacy researches and programmes in less developed or developing countries and communities.
