INTUC president allegedly attacked by BJP/RSS leaders

Brahmavar: It has been alleged in a complaint filed with Kota police station that some BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders attacked Ajit Shetty Yalahaklu, president of youth unit of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), Kundapur assembly constituency unit at Manamballi during the late night hours on Tuesday, April 9.
On Wednesday, Ajit was resting after having attended a mehendi programme of his friend’s elder brother when he was allegedly attacked by Hubballi -Dharwad RSS leader Ratnakar Shetty, BJP leader and taluk panchayat member Gundu Shetty, Surendra Shetty, Ambareesh Malyadi and others.
In his complaint to the police, he further states that post the attack, the assailants also posed death threats to him. He was threatened to resign from the post he holds in INTUC and join the BJP, he claimed.
