Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Divisional Office of Indian Oil Corporation Limited distributed prizes to 22 consumers who were a part in its seven months of cashless transaction promotion drive in the district.

The winners were selected through lucky draw coupons. The winners were the ones who swiped their cards to purchase fuel at the outlets.

The company had asked such customers to give a missed all to a given number soon after the purchase.

The missed call triggered an SMS on their mobile phones as an acknowledgment.

The drive was launched as a part of Dakshina Kannada digital India programme.
