IPS officer C B Rishyanth appointed as Dakshina Kannada SP

Mangaluru: IPS officer C B Rishyanth has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Dakshina Kannada.

C B Rishyanth had been recently appointed as the in-charge Superintendent of Police of Dakshina Kannada district. He had replaced Dr Vikram Amathe.

Rishyanth, a 2013 batch IPS officer, was earlier serving as SP of Davanagere and was posted at Bengaluru ahead of the assembly elections.

Hailing from Bengaluru Rishyanth has earlier served as ASP of Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru, Bagalakote and Davanagere.
