A picture of a policeman on night duty helping a thirsty dog drink water from a hand pump, shared by an IPS officer on Twitter, has gone viral.

The picture shared by Shamli SP Sukirti Madhav Mishra was taken in Varanasi. “If dogs love a man, he’s a good man. Incredible Banaras,” said Mishra while sharing the picture.

The picture went viral and received 15K likes within hours of being shared online. Netizens shared their lovely reactions to the tweet.

The picture was originally shared by Twitter handle @policemedinews. They requested people to help the police in carrying out their duty in this tough time of the COVID pandemic.
