IPS officers Vikash Kumar, Dr Harsha assume charge in new postings

Mangaluru/Bengaluru: Dr PS Harsha, a 2004 batch IPS officer took charge as DIG and Commissioner, Information and Public Relations, Bengaluru from his predecessor S.N. Siddaramappa.

Meanwhile, IPS Officer Vikas Kumar who replaces Dr Harsha also assumed charge as the new Commissioner of Mangaluru Police on Monday.

In a major rejig on Friday the state government transferred 13 IPS officers.

Vikash Kumar, a 2004 batch IPS officer was serving as the deputy IGP, Anti-Naxal Force in Karkala prior to this posting. Meanwhile Siddaramappa has been transferred as DIG, CID, Economic Offences Wing, Bengaluru, replacing K. Thiyagarajan.

Siddaramappa handed over the charge to Dr Harsha while wishing him all the luck.
