A baby in Iraq has been born with three penises and the doctor said that it was the first time he had seen such a case where a baby has more than one private part.
As per reports, the baby was born in Mosul, Northern Iraq. Doctors claim that three penises are an unreported condition in human beings until now.
Doctors found out that the penises were 2cm and 1 cm in length and are attached to the main genitalia.
Supernumerary penises are an extremely rare condition first seen in 1609 where a baby was born with more than one penis. This also means that the baby will not be able to participate in any physical activity.
According to the doctors, the reason for three penises could be either genetic or due to a problem that occurred during pregnancy. Two of the genitals will be removed by surgery, they added.
The condition called supernumerary is very rare with one such case occurrences are seen in the birth of 50-60 lakh babies worldwide.
An case study has also been published in this regard in the International Journal of Surgery.
