Civil aviation regulator DGCA has been urged to probe into the cancellation of the Mangaluru-Bengaluru Indigo flight leaving passengers stranded at the Mangaluru International Airport.
It maybe recalled that a Dubai-bound Indigo flight had to be grounded after it suffered a bird hit during take-off from Mangaluru airport. Following this, the Bengaluru-bound flight was diverted to Dubai
Tweeting about the incident, Academician and Lokniti Network’s national Coordinator Sandeep Shastri said that “the flight was cancelled as Indigo needed the aircraft to service an international flight and they call it the hopelessly vague operational issue.
“Request Hon’ble Minister, DGCA to initiate an investigation, over a 100 domestic passengers were inconvenienced with no compensation.
