Mangaluru: “C T Ravi has passed derogatory comments on women during a rally at Chikkamagaluru. Do you (C T Ravi) need only women to criticize? Even his own mother can’t forgive him for his remarks. Is it your tongue or sandals that spoke?” questioned Udupi district-in-charge minister Dr Jayamala reacting to controversial remarks on women by C T Ravi.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday April 16th, Jayamala termed the forthcoming Lok Sabha election as a battle between ‘truth vs lie’ and ‘asli vs nakli’ and said, “Why should we vote for BJP? Should we vote for a government that makes false promises? Five year Modi led NDA government has confused the people of the country.”
“We will complain to election commission about C T Ravi’s remarks. We will also give him two books about mother so that he can gain knowledge about the importance of a mother. Through courier we will send him the books,” said the minister.
“Modi has skyrocketed the price of gas cylinder and fooled us. Modi spends 51% of funds for advertisements to glorify his projects and schemes. IT is raiding the residence of Congress and JD(S). Meanwhile, suitcase is being carried in Modi’s plane. What is there in that suitcase?” she questioned.
