Almost everybody loves music, it is impossible to find a person who does not love music or connect with it. But,did you know that music has various health benefits?

Music can soothe you, motivate you and comfort you but little do we know that music can do much more than that.

When we listen to music our brain releases dopamine which is a feel good chemical essential for the healthy functioning of the central nervous system.

Music has a unique link to our emotions, and it is said that it can be used as an extremely effective stress management tool.

Insomnia and other sleep deprivation issues can be cured by listening to music.

Research has shown that the repetitive elements of rhythm and melody help our brains form patterns that enhance memory.

Believe it or not but Music has a unique ability to help with pain management. In a recent study, patients undergoing spine surgery were instructed to listen to self-selected music on the evening before their surgery and until the second day after their surgery. When measured on pain levels post surgery, the group had significantly less pain than a control group who didn’t listen to music.
